Thu, 6 July 2006 So it's nice to see PodShow is up and running. Podcasters who signed the contract with PS have been waiting for this day for what seems like ages. Who knows what it will bring but let's hope it's all good for everybody. I'm excited - are you? This weeks show I'm reading another letter of total jams, playing music by The Besties and Dirty On Purpose and I'm sure a couple of other great bands will be added. See you Monday, July 10 for MAPD#53! Category: general -- posted at: 10:37 PM Comments[3] |
Tue, 20 June 2006 I hope none of you out there had any problems downloading all 3 parts to MPAD#50. I'm the last person to try and push technology, but with that episode I tried to put out 3 rss feeds at once. So, let me know what you thought of my experiment, and definitely let me know if you experienced any problems dowloading it. I've read a couple of comics this week -- Shadowpact#1 - I love magic comics, so, of all the new DC comics, this is the one I was most looking forward to - and it doesn't disappoint. This is the first comic by Bill Willingham who also does a fabulous job on the artwork. The 2nd issue is out this week and I'll definitely be picking it up. The Astonishing XMen "Gifted" TPB - I have every issue of this new series of Astonishing XMen by Joss Whedon, and I've finally gotten around to start reading some of it. The first issue was terrific with a nice introduction to the book and the direction Whedon is taking the group. The artwork is outstanding and Whedon's humor and knack for snappy dialog is alive and well. Which makes me say - why'd I wait so long to start?
