Sun, 29 June 2008 "SIt's my 150th episode! This episode starts with a special 5minute mix I put together called "Sympathy for the DJ", see if you can guess the song and artist as it plays. I also talk about the upcoming Phonotropic's "Wicked Awesome Barbequed Musical Safari...Yes!" which is an amazing event on July 11th that I am actually DJing (though that will be a generous defitnition). Enjoy the music, mostly on the indie pop, jangle rock side of things, be sure to email me with you comments or call my new message line at:206-279-4725.

Sun, 15 June 2008 ![]() I didn't say it on the episode so let me put it here: Happy Father's Day! Rather than play music and do the usual MPAD episode, on this episode I talk with Lee Bushman, the Marketing Director at Iron Core Entertainment (ICE), a film company that is currently working on the Sci-Fi webvideo series "Terra". "Terra" is an ambitious, science fiction show that takes place in the not too distant future. I'd tell you more but I'd rather you listen to the episode and hear it from Lee. ICE are looking for extras and people that like to have a good time, if you're interested check this event out. If you create music ICE are also looking for music to contribute to their show. Underneath the interview the music playing is provided by Mighty Whitey and Aleph-1, a prog-syth band from Ann Arbor. music - Mighty Wyte "Too Much" "The Big Idea" "Noyz" "Dance of the Dims" Aleph-1 "Judo""Plan 9" "Sandman" "DB" Robert Babicz "Humble (Systematic)" To see a mini-episode of Terra go here! sponsors : eMusic sign up for a free 35 track subscription offer! Sun, 8 June 2008 ![]() Movement 2008 is also known as the Annual Detroit Tech Techfest. A weekend of cutting edge electronic music, DJing and fun. I went to the show on Sunday, May 25 and had an amazing time. I had my flip video recorder with me and took some video. This episode has some of the better footage. It was a crazy day that was packed with people, there was dancing, great music, and friendly faces. You could say I was "moved by movement!" See you there in 2009. music: Jared Wilson "Acid DJ" Kill Memory Crash "EBM band" Ectomorph "Electro duo" Girl Talk "Insane DJ/laptop artist" sponsors: Join the Mevio Superpanel for your chance to win prizes. Sun, 1 June 2008 Welcome to June, despite the cost of gas, I think this is going to be a great summer, lots of good shows, a couple festivals and sun. Thanks to the podcast I'm getting involved with things I've always wanted to do - like DJ a show and be part of the process of making a record. There's even more than that, but I don't want to speak too soon, so you'll learn more about that on upcoming MPAD episodes. On this episode, the music is a lighter than last week, with a bit of power pop thrown in. The comic supplied for this page is from Dave LaPlante's Joe Pop, check it out.
